Atividade 1

Complete the sentences that describe room conditions with the words given in the box.

1. Now I’ve found pinholes in the drywall surfaces of the dining room.

2. The house was in bad shape, with peeling paint and brown leaks on the ceiling.

3. The solvent effortlessly removes the ink stain on the carpet.

4. We want no scratches on the wardrobe doors.

5. He lies on the sofa in his small office, staring at the cracks on the floor.

Atividade 2

Your friend has written an email to the student housing unit manager asking for information on how to proceed to vacate the apartment. He asked you to revise his email. The core sentence in the body of the e-mail is written in the wrong order. Organize the sentence for your friend.

This e-mail is to pre-notify you of the date it will be vacated and to request further information on how to proceed.
